Everyone tries to justify when it comes to the fat problem in this country. Most people who are overweight usually end up spotlighting their problem. That is, they always put the blame on something or someone else.
They say things like ...I'm too tired to start an exercise program. I don't have the time ...I work to many hours and my job don't allow me the time to start an exercise program. I think I have a thyroid problem ...I think I have a metabolism problem. Someone told me I might have a slow metabolism that's causing the weight gain.
That may have worked then or fifteen years ago ...but those excuses don't hit it today. Because according to all the new data coming out about this fat problem in America ...most of the experts agree ...that the number one reason why we're gaining weight and getting fatter is because we all simply eat too much of the wrong foods.
Wow!! With the billions of dollars being spent each year on weight-loss programs and more billions of dollars being spent on research ...could it actually be that simple? Could it actually be that easy to turn this pandemic around? Could it be possible that if we cut our calories by 500 less calories per day ...that mathematically we could lose a remarkable one pound every week? Absolutely!
